CONEXPO CON AGG 2014 WrAP UP Powerscreen Powerscreen exhibited three new machines the Premiertrak 300 jaw crusher the Trakpactor 320SR impact crusher and the Warrior 2100 screen All three machines showcased a new look from Powerscreen that maintains the traditional company color yet adds a dark gray color on the chassis and conveyors According to Powerscreen the Premiertrak 300 features the new hydrostatic drive system option allowing it to reverse and unblock or run continuously in reverse for asphalt applications It is designed to run at low engine RPM resulting in improved fuel efficiency and low noise emissions the company says The Trakpactor 320SR meanwhile is a mid sized horizontal impact crusher redesigned with some key enhancements to offer operators and contractors better reduction and high consistency of product shape for performance in quarry and recycling applications The plant features a recirculating conveyor that rises for transport allowing more ground clearance under the machine when moving on site and loading for transport Finally the Warrior 2100 is engineered to include the companys tripleshaft technology first developed for the Warrior 2400 The triple shaft is designed so the 16 ft x 5 ft screen box is efficient while maintaining exceptional throughput productivity www powerscreen com REMco New equipment was display at REMcos booth including a large vertical shaft impactor VSI portable plant incorporating self leveling and other advanced features All REMco VSI crushers include SmartBox ready construction The REMco SmartBox system was also on display and available for user demo In addition the latest design of REMco ST AR and VSG machines were there At the show REMco introduced its own line of PROcone and PROjaw crushers which will be offered to all operators in North and South America In addition the Proman line of crushing equipment was introduced in Las Vegas as a new player in the U S market The Proman line of crushing equipment developed in conjunction with REMco and its VSI crushers has achieved an enviable track record for equipment sold and operated over the last 10 years the company says www remcovsi com 50 PIT QUARRY May 2014 www pitandquarry com
