EVENT CAse ConsTRUCTIon eQUIPMenT MenT Loader lineup Case showcases its latest G Series wheel loader lineup at an event in Tomahawk Wisconsin ase Construction Equipment debuted its G Series wheel loader lineup to the market this fall The lineup includes C the 521G 621G 721G 821G 921G 1021G and 1121G loaders The 1121G is an application specific machine says Ira Davis product specialist at Case Its designed for heavy cycle use in quarries and pits The G Series wheel loaders are an update to the companys F Series lineup which was released about five years ago When you break it down into key components the engine capacity in the new lineup is different from the F Series says Andrew Dargatz brand manager for wheel loaders at Case The electrical system is completely changed the hydraulics are changed and the cab design is changed Altogether it offers better drive performance so its a completely redone machine The 320 hp 1021G handles a 475 cu yd to 55 cu yd bucket capacity and 49787 pounds of breakout force The 347 hp 1121G handles a 525 cu yd to 625 cu yd bucket capacity and 56245 pounds of breakout force In addition the 1021G and 1121G come with a reversible fan for easier access and cleaning A customer wow factor to these loaders is the fan in the back of the loader that opens up and has space inside Davis says Theres easy access to the fan AddITIonAl feATURes All of Cases G Series wheel loaders incorporate Tier 4 Final engines and selective catalytic reduction engine technology by Megan SMalley Case offers a range of bucket and linkage options to optimize each machine for its application Linkage options include Z bar extended reach XR and tool carrier parallel lift configuration XT Each loader comes with a four speed power transition The loaders provide a number of tire and axle options based on the operating environment In addition the G Series loaders include an electric rear hood lift for quick access to the engine compartment for ground level serviceability If I want to check oil I dont have to climb up on this machine Davis says Its all done from the ground which makes it easy to do these jobs daily Inside the cab Case integrated a membrane keypad to replace a series of rocker switches along with a new steering console that mimics conventional driving controls found in most cars and trucks An 8 in LCD monitor provides operators Case Construction equipment designed its 1021G and 1121G wheel loaders to work in aggregate mining applications with insight on many of the loaders functions and activities including changing displays for day and night operation information on operating parameters such as fuel levels or temperatures and an integrated rearview camera The cab features a symmetrical layout and provides users with more legroom Dargatz says It works for people from the fifth to 99th percentile Operators can also choose between three seat options to improve comfort levels in the cab Additionally a one piece rounded windshield gives users higher levels of visibility and more optimally placed external mirrors help to prevent operator fatigue The loaders also include an updated HVAC system that defogs faster in cold conditions P Q 42 PIT QUARRY December 2016 pitandquarry com
